Very nice tone!

The new K-Tre models have a lot more gain I think. Also they are 120W as opposed to this 100W head and the reverb model obviously has reverb. I can't put it in compare with the M100, I never heard/tried those amps, nor the old S-series that they are based on. Cheers!

i love the classic tolex look of this head, but what's the difference between your knucklehead and the new k-tre models out now?
also how does your amp stand up to the m100 rivera?
thanks.

I"ve had Many a amps", 800"s-900"s-2000 DSL's-Laney AOR"s-GH100TI-5150"s-X100"s-Legacy-Jmp-1"s-9200-ADA-Pirahna-Boogie"s- etc.... I have been checking out these Rivera amps(Specifically the Knucklhead Tre) and Honestly think they sound better than any other amp out there! They have a GREAT crunchy Burnished tone with enough thickness and gritty bite".Sustain is awesome!. Its like the perfect amp if you were weened on the old Marshalls and Fenders but want more tonal flexability" GREAT AMPS!

@dewycatt2112 That sums it up pretty nicely!

I could bought one of these on ebay for, oh, about $400 American but I let it go. Ever since my niece and her boyfriend stole my JCM 800 head for partying money I've been wanting another. Or something better. Ack!

Great! This is a really nice demonstration of the Rivera tone, especially the lead tone. Rivera's have this thicker more complex tone.. not what everyone wants, I know, but when I want to play guitar this tone keeps me playing for hours.
