if your in an area with 2 to 3 story buildings and no open spaces you will get the best results, the more one story buildings with big lawns in fron of the houses WPS will have difficulties picking up the wifi beacons from those houses... or, if you would have placed the PC higher, so that the metal from the car ('rari) door wouldn't have blocked the wifi that much...

good test, but your test neighborhood was too rural for WPS...

you need a more urban settings for WPS to show it's potential...

GPS is meant for that kind of setting... or WPS + GPS = A-GPS, but WPS needs 2 wifi router beacons to accurately locate you, more than 2 wifi router beacons will place you within 10-20m or your actual location, and 4 and more will place you with 10m of your actual location...
