  • @cbhookem24 is that a stock turbo just wondering cus i cant getmy turbo to wistle very loud or spool.

  • Thats a big fucking exhaust pipe lol

  • @DAVe3283Martin my bad.

  • @srt10taylor Wow, you totally didn't see that I was replying to someone else. Read what "cumminsrustbucket" said, then what I said, it will make sense then.

This won't hurt the engine much (if at all), as there is no load on it. High RPMs won't make any difference, it is high load on a cold engine that actually hurts stuff. Modern engines have much better metals and tolerances, and are designed to work over a much wider temperature range.

  • @DAVe3283Martin dude its not the high temperature that fucks up an engine on a cold start. its the being cold and the pistons not being fully expanded and everything else being loose and its bad for it. it has nothing to do with being hot.

  • @cumminsrustbucket Assuming the truck was already warmed up, what he did won't hurt anything. It's not some rattletrap cummins we're dealing with. Plus, 30 seconds of revving in neutral won't get hotter than 400-500 degrees EGT, max, and the turbo is water cooled, so it won't coke the oil anyway. I can come off a hill with a trailer and my EGTs will go from 1300 down to 400 in 30 seconds, usually before I even can get parked, so I just shut it off. 240,000 miles of that, and it runs like new.

  • Sounds awesome! Ordering one for my dmax

  • I like it. I have the same exhaust on my truck. Can't beat the price!!!
