  • These two species do overlap in the wild in northern Bolivia, but otherwise the severa is found on the western and northwestern side of South America and nobilis east and south of there, especially in Brazil.

  • Are they from the same area that Ara nobilis nobilis (the Hahn's/Red-shouldered macaw) are from? They look so similar- except for the size.
