This is a quick guide on how to check your rear shocks bushes when you have the shock off the bike. A lot of the time when you have play in the back end of your bike it is simply the rear shocks bushes that are causing it.

This is only for the DU and DP4 steel backed bushes the Polimer bushes which are a cream or grey run a little bit slacker due to being a different material they should still be snug without any play.

If you catch it early all you will have to change is the inner eyelet bush, £1 = £1.50 if you leave it for a while you will need to replace the outer bush and this cost £20 to £30 each mount, depending on the kind of bush used.
