I just have to laugh at this. You don't know how old I am, you don't know where I live or what I've experienced in my life so you cannot tell me what I have or have not experienced. Imitation really is the greatest and most sincere form of flattery...there really is no need to be angry and pull the race card. You either enjoy her version or not and if you don't listen to Etta's version. It's not an issue to love what you love but everything does not come down to race. You can't heal a wound if you keep picking at the scabs. As a fellow black person I wish we'd be over this I'm black, you're not thing and just love each other and whatever else we love.
