Joe Hohn is an I&C engineer with Dynalectric in San Diego and has over 25 years of experience in the application, commissioning and troubleshooting of instrumentation.

Part 1, "Introduction to Fieldbus Technologies, Selection Guidelines and Economics," covered selecting from among the common bus technologies and best practices regarding their implementation.

Part 2, "Foundation Fieldbus Physical Layer Design Workshop," demonstrated installation and commissioning and design requirements for valves and instruments.
