kulebyak looks and sounds so gross. I mean I like pretty much every ingredient in the dish, so theoretically I should like the whole dish, but it just feels so gross with all of those ingredients put together. it's like an exaggerated version of turdacken (not the ingredients, but the idea of it) - useless, stupid, greedy and gross.

He should try my Mom's kulebyaka, a royal feast! It's really down to the dough and very good (expensive too!) fish to make it taste right. It simply won't be the same with stewed cod and potatoes, like in the film.
