@Naptownstreetsquid I wasn't saying I supported Obama, I was supporting Clinton. I'm aware of the deficit, but before you place it all on one man you should check the history and see all the presidents and their spending. I haven't been keeping up with Obama, but I do wonder what person could get things in order. Everyone is working with an agenda and i'm wondering where the lesser of the evils is.

Of course I understand what a surplus is and want one. You spoke about a surplus then referred to obama as trying to fix things. So obviously I am going to point out that Obama has run the biggest deficit in history. One man cant solve a countries problems period, but he can help or hurt the situation. What is Obama doing to help

@Naptownstreetsquid Surplus is a good thing because it could be used to pay off debt, not to mention every president is responsible in some way for debt because of spending and not capping it off at a limit. The republicans of before are different than the ones now, the republicans now are all very far right. I also don't think one man can solve centuries worth of problems in 2 to 4 years.

@Requiemxtoxinnocence well if you think surplus is a great thing then why would you support someone who is president during a trillion plus deficit every year. Also remember that Obama promised to fix these problems. It is also very note worthy that Clinton had a Republican majority congress (house and senate) that controlled spending and set the budget so I think its kind of silly to attribute that surplus to Clinton.

People hate bush and obama, clinton gave us a surplus and got some all during his presidency. Also you can't expect one man to fix a country filled with problems all in a short amount of time.
