Much of Smith Rocks State was formerly owned by my Grandfather Woodruff J. Bastian (aka Wood). Every Morning he would get up and look at the sun as it reflected of redrock walls. Not a bad place to sit on your tractor. As a kid we rode our horse in the State Park. Never could we have concieved that people from all over the world would come to appreciate a place we largely took for granted.

great climb, those climbs remind me of summer. good times, nice camera work and music. that climb is called 9 gallon buckets or something right? i do those climbs every year, always fun :)
