I have an older craftsman with same basic beltguard under the mower. I have the blade off, but the blade adapter does not come off as you show in the video. I notice that you lock it back in when you put it back on, but you don't show unlocking action to take it off. How does it slide off?

@jackieandley hi, u can pull it off, if it is stuck on you can use a 2 jaw puller, check out my video called How To Remove A Lawnmower Blade Adapter

Hi mate, cool stuff! have you ever seen an old type? royal 42s? there is some plastic stuff under the blade,which is solid. I can not remove. Any idea? Cheers.
