Declan MacLogan playing Lay Down Sally by Erio Clapton.
This is an experiement using the Digitech GNX4 looper. I am playing the guitar, bass part with my feet on a Fatar midi pedal board, then guitar and the bass simulator on the GNX, multiple layered vocal tracks, etc.
Drums are a sequenced midi drum part. I am recording tracks in real time, then looping and immediately playing the previously recorded tracks and a new track, that is being recorded live. This shows me playing rhythm guitar, lead guitar and even harmonizsing with myself.
A looper is basically a multitrack recorder that you can record a track and push a footswitch to signal that you are at the end of a phrase (verse + chorus). The looper will immediately start playing that phrase back from its start replaying what you just recorded and start recording on a seperate track the next instrument/vocal part. It can also b econfigured to keep "looping" that phrase. Then you can play another guitar part/bass part/vocal while the previous track(s) are playing back. The GNX4 supports up to 8 individual tracks tracks playing back and looping! Up to 664 minutes per track or more!
Lastly, I have a video Special FX generator on the floor that I am controlling with my feet to switch the camera being viewed in the video.
This was an EXPERIMENT and has some clunkers ;-)
Enjoy.

I happened upon this video during a search for "Eric Clapton" + "Lay Down Sally". After viewing a couple of actual EC videos. I clicked on some of the 'covers' by others. After only a moment or two on each one I clicked on another due to lack of interest.
I was amazed by this video. I was transfixed during the entire eleven minutes. Congratulations on a job well-done. YOU ROCK!
