@c0unterph0bia No it finds the lowest impedance to the ground. If something is a lower impedance than the air itself, it will go through that object. Source: my EE degree

here's the thing, lightning leaves a very elaborate pattern in the skin when it strikes a human.
if I ever get struck by lightning and survive, the first thing I am gonna do after getting out of the hospital is go to a tattoo place and have them ink the pattern before it goes away.
because I EARNED that tattoo.
