@bluesdealer No it's not. That's not true at all. Tell me where you read this?

@Anim4000 Purple is Entourage. It was the Mac version of Outlook until Office for Mac 2011 brought Outlook for Mac. There is no version of Access for Mac.

@newschannel Samsung is Korean and the name means "three stars" but we don't say the Three Star Galaxy S, we say the Samsung Galaxy S.

How is he ill informed?
It is a well-known fact that MS began making software exclusively for the original Macintosh so they could get their hands on the beta software and copy it for their secret new OS, which was later named Windows.
It was buggy as hell and nearly unusable until version 3.1, but MS went to the bank since all they had IBM and other manufacturers ready to hop on board in an attempt to catch up with Apple.

@ShadowRaver Office was originally for Macintosh. Windows only came into existence so that Office could be ported to PCs.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
It is very weird how there are no corresponding Japanese terms for Mac, PC and Microsoft Office. They just use the English term.

Mac and Microsoft Office are proper nouns (not to mention trademarks) so it sort of makes sense. PC is always called pasokon though, which is a common Japanese term shortened from PERSOnal COMputer.

Is this telling us that Macs don't actually do anything productive even when you ask them to? I think Apple are shooting themselves in the foot with their "Macs are only for fun, not boring work stuff" approach.

No, quite the opposite - PC thinks that Mac and Office are playing a joke on him, because Office is clearly a "serious work" package it couldn't possibly work on a Mac. Office for Mac isn't going to take orders from PC though.
