@missshaza86 Twins run on the maternal side so someone like your Aunt, Mom, or Grandmother would need to have twins for it to be hereditary. Males can inherit the gene and pass it on to their kids but it wouldn't matter in whether or not THEY actually had twins. The male determines gender while the female determines how many babies. Also, it can skip a generation. Meaning your mom could have twins but you might not, rather your daughter would.
