@runningwolfkenpo - Don't believe a word Pete Eyre says. He certainly knows how to talk to people to take advantage of people for their money that's all he cares about!

I'm not sure what natural common Gods law means. He obviously didn't do what he was supposed to do and ended up in trouble. The only ones who suffer are the children. They have to see their dad go in and out of jail for not paying child support also, his current wife loses as well. He has a moral and financial obligation to take care of his wife and his children. He has become a dead beat dad.

Now that is an effective call: concerned, level-headed and helpful. I think if there's any chance to attract jail guards to a productive and normal life, this kind of interaction will be most likely to work. I'll aspire to do as well at that. Thanks Adam and Pete!
He put himself in there no one else did. He broke the law and got what came to him. Hypothetically, if he were to let him go, only you guys would be happy. I have to pay my child support, why not him?

@runningwolfkenpo Since you are in a somewhat similar situation, you probably know more than most just how skewed things become when public officials become involved.
The system itself causes and exacerbates the very problems it claims to address. Those involved with this situation on the ground recognize that it was only made worse when uninvolved strangers interjected themselves.
Also, there's a difference IMO between man-made legislation and natural/common/gods law.
