How can i remove the jailbreak?I saw on a pair of sites that if you restore from a backup that you've done before jailbreaking the jailbreak will still remain

@TheGhirix It will not remain the same but some components from a jailbreak carry over. It is best to not back very often when jailbroken or being heavily modified. A backup backs up main directories and files so... like a carrier logo carries over because backup texts that text.
A simple restore and set as a new device will do the trick to completely delete all trace of a jailbreak

HI, I HAVE A BRAND NEW 4S, WHICH HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED....WHEN I CONNECT 4S TO COMPUTER ABSINTHE DETECTS THE FW, THEN I CLICK ON JB...BUT IT GETS STUCK ON: 'BEGINNING JAILBREAK, THIS MAY TAKE A WHILE...." STEP FOR OVER AN HOUR....AND NOTHING HAPPENS....SOMETHING MUST BE WRONG...COULD IT BE BECAUSE THE PHONE IS NOT ACTIVATED? DO I NEED TO HACKTIVATE PRIOR TO JB-ING? IS THERE A TOOL TO HACKTIVATE 4S? SOMEONE PLEASE ADVISE.

@geoshotinyc You may need to borrow someone's sim card to activate. I do not believe absinthe hacktivates.
