Beam of light makes crop circle?

Filmed on the night of the 2/3rd of May 2010, using night-vision goggles, a beam of light is seen descending from the sky and moving around a field. Location is East Field - Wiltshire, UK. Could this be how crop circles are really made?

It looks like it was filmed from Knapp hill looking away from east field , behind the filming. Whats the crop circle connection as well ?
