During a visit to the zoo, the Typewriter Guy is frightened by a bird with unusual sound-mimicking talents. (This clip was posted here long ago, but pulled from YouTube since then.)

I like the typewriter guy too. His absense is one of the many reasons that "Sesame Street" has really gone downhill over the years!

i think was afraid of the type writer guy and couldn't wait for it to be over. but then i made up my own nununu thing, i would put my blanket between my toes squueze and called it a nununu...hmmm

@slydawg221 : No official name; CTW scripts just call it "typewriter".

@hoopersghost You mean Sesame Workshop scripts just call it typewriter

@JesseL85719 : The company hadn't become Sesame Workshop at the time these cartoons were made, so the older scripts and archives still refer to CTW. (P.S.: "Typewriter Guy" is an *unofficial* name for the character, popular with fans but never actually used on the air.)

@coyote374 : Yes, the Typewriter Guy series covered the whole alphabet, although some letters are a lot harder to find clips for than others.
