BlackBerry Curve 9360 Unboxing

Want to win a trip to London? Details: http://youtu.be/Q-YcdRS1xRY

In a move Research in Motion hopes will appeal to the younger, SMS-loving crowd, the Waterloo-based company has released its miniature BlackBerry Curve 9360. When we say miniature, we mean miniature.
Equipped with a display that measures in at only 2.44-inch, the device touts a single core, 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM, 512MB of internal storage (expandable with mircoSD), 5 megapixel camera and 1000 mAh battery. Compared to something like the Droid Razr, the Curve 9360 sounds like something from the mid 2000s. Continue reading: http://tchno.be/unbVMv

  • ROFL THE COMPAIRISONS!!!

  • if one of these are giveaways~~

  • @kakarot1234567891234 Yeah but i prefer touch screens to the amount of room that keyboards waste. I just feel like its completely restricted to text stuff (as well as calls like any phone) so ill go Iphone. And i was just talking to someone who was on their blackberry, the call quality was shite.

  • @metaitachi Don't count on it, I'm in university here in Ontario and the reason why BlackBerrys outnumber iPhones and other smartphones so greatly is because they are built around the idea of communication. Fantastic call quality, great keyboard, best email experience as well as the best mobile instant communication application, BlackBerry Messenger. Some not all also have social networking plans which allows them to access social networks without having a data plan. Data plan is also optional.

  • @mriawsome Yes, BlackBerries are smartphones, they are aimed at the more proffessional user. The only place they're lacking is in app world, but that's improving. What you're looking at here is the Curve. It is the budget BlackBerry, and so is not going to packed with stuff. Take a look at the BlackBerry Bold 9900 or Torch 9860, both 1.2 GHz phones, touchscreens plus the 9900 has the best keyboard ever made and NFC, and are quality built etc. So yes, BlackBerries are smartphones. FIN

  • @mriawsome blackberrys are the best

  • I swear Jon is high when he his making these unboxing videos!

    Haha gotta love it (:

  • @princetorks if you have a data plan (internet on your phone) you can use bbm. bbm only works with internet so if you use your wifi somewhere, you could use bbm:-).
