1948 - Kind of a rare uptempo number from cowboy star Eddie. What's notable is the backing by Andy Parker & the Plainsmen... look closely and you'll see steel guitar colossus Joaquin Murphey there... though how he plugged in an amp on a buckboard is anybody's guess (haw haw). Enjoy.

  • What a singer! The beauty of Eddie Dean's voice and how he used it has always been a great source of joy in my life. For an uptempo tune, I put 'Let's Go Sparkin' 'right up there with 'I Reckon I'll Be Moseyin' Along'.

  • The girl is Shirley Patterson who appeared in Columbia westerns with Bill Elliott, Tex Ritter and Russel Hayden. She was also the heroine of the Batman serial. In the late Forties, she appeared in a few PRC westerns with Eddie Dean.

  • @Compass56 To say the least!!
