  • Imagine the g forces doing that... Ouch

  • I'm embarrassed to say the first time I ever heard of or saw such a thing as this was in the Battlefield 3 Campaign, and Im one of those people who -HATES- geeks who pretend they know a lot about military stuff, or anytihng from what they learned in an army game.

  • No matter what the debate about the combat efficacy of this move, this is an impressive display of skill on the part of the pilot.

  • It's like drifting for fighter jets.

  • useful for air to air combat. but difficult.

  • Cobra manuover baaah, look up a video of any old SU-26 or 31throwing itself around the sky and then tell me this modern fighter "hype" is impressive.

WAKE UP Gamers aircraft are REAL.

Most manoverable aircraft in word (even today) = Harrier, the only airframe to VIFF.

  • @TheSilentwarrior99 "...but it isnt useful, dangerous in fact...And that spin cobra...is somewhat useful in specific situations..." you said nothing of the sort.

"...however it is in fact a air-to-air tatical maneuver..." No, it's not. It's a demonstration of instantaneous turning radius and nothing more. As I listed before. 1. You have to be going too slow in the first place to perform either maneuver. 2. It brings you to a near stop. Never a good thing in combat.
