Gang Starr is one of those hip hop artists I never get sick of, never have the feeling to find a bad album, and never am dissapointed. we need more real stuff in todays music scene. talking about money, gang banging, drugs and bitches in every song is not hip hop.

@SkateGeek27 definitely man, I honestly haven't been back to this video for a while now and am a little surprised that my comment is the top...to be honest, I wasn't as familiar with Mac Miller's material back when I wrote that comment but there's still something about him that I can't buy...love a lot of his beats though

@MrJONNYBEATZ To look at the positive side, it shows that he appreciates real hip hop and that hes trying to re create it. Less hate less problems in this world man just a better outlook.

Am lucky that i have meant the guru and rap with him r.i.p
I'm fifteen, and my eyes have been opened. This is what hip-hop should be; I can't believe it evolved into what my generation calls "hip-hop". Hip-hop isn't rapping about how many bitches you can fit in your bentley, how much money you can waste at once, how "thug" and "tough" you are, how you love your haters, how often you smoke, how many times you can say swears in a sentence. Not at all man. It's about real life, real things, that pertain to everyone. if only this was the standard nowadays.

Scarface's part in this song hits me so hard personally. A friend of mine went through that exact same thing. Played basketball, older brother was a dealer, and he got killed over some bullshit his brother got into. I can't get over how this song is so powerful. R.I.P. Guru. You did more for people than you could ever imagine through your music. You're missed dearly.
