Sure. I'm not saying you have to love, or even like, CodePINK. But look at their real message, it's pro-peace not anti-soldier.
So, you were involved in anti-Vietnam-war activism? That's interesting. May I ask, how was your experience there?

well as a veteran (I supose that means war criminal) I have a right to picky about the company I keep......I know a group like PINK has all kinds this is similar to the Vietnam days when I had to hold my nose around some of the other activists because they had some wacky views on other issues.....but at my age I don't need to belong to a group so I can afford to set an insanely high bar..LOL

If you are trying to get a disagreement regarding our country NOT being a democracy, I'm not giving you one. But your statement about the majority becoming tyrannical is ridiculous. Do I need to remind you of our leader's noble quest to remove a tyrannical dictator and give democracy to Iraq? Hypocritical don't you think? Especially since he is a tyrannical dictator himself.

OK, if they said that, then they should not have. If one of them saying that is enough to earn all Code Pinkers your emnity, then you will probably consider them your enemy. I think you might want to step back a bit, though, and look at the context they said it in, as well as their overall message, which is about the necessity of learning to live without war, not attacks on soldiers.

Or, you could actually listen to what people are saying and realize that it has less to do with 'left' or 'right' and more to do with discarding the comforting fantasy, and starting to deal with the unpleasant reality.
