The Clash - Know Your Rights (RP61 Loop Mix)

Going through some old audio projects I'd done in the past, the video is something I knocked up to compliment a short mix I put together consisting of loop samples. I went through a phase of these mixes, usually after hearing a great track that hit the spot, then work around a good riff, hook or vibe.

I suppose a good example of a more complex variation than this simple effort here, is a mix I did for a track by 'The Fall' called 'Way Round' which can be heard and found in my videos...

I took that from the Don Letts Clash documentary 'westway to the world'

Although you've probably seen the other bits in other things, ALL what you see here is in WTTW film. Apart from that snapshot right at the end.

It's a great watch if you can hunt it down,

there's a really poignant moment when Joe Strummer is talking you through the reasons they "sacked" Mick Jones. You can clearly see Joe is close to tears, reminiscing that it was the worst move the band ever did.
