This is my first youtube upload, so please forgive all mistakes that there might be.. these are some reels that I felt like putting together. After i had played the tunes, I felt like putting a bit more on it - resulting in one rythm guitar and mandolin, and an extra guitar at the end.. The image is recorded with a digital camera, and the sound is recorded though a condenser microfone into a TC interface, and mixed in a DAW software. All then linked together in moviemaker. Hope you enjoy.

  • awesome, man, i like it very much

what guitar tuning did you use here?

  • @ThumbAndFingers : hey thanks, I'm pretty sure it was dadgad. At the time that was pretty much all I used, but the frequent shifting of left-hand position has since made me change to dropped D.

  • mistakes? where? that is awsome mate! - second tune i've played for ages but never had a name for it until now - thanx for posting & keep pickin!

  • Thanks for the comment ;-)

Yeah, the Wise Maid is a really "famous" reel - I think maybe because Planxty played it after their version of the song "the jolly beggar". I think that it's credited to Joe Cooley though.

  • FEDEST MADS! Det er lækker lagkage!

  • Takker ;-) Jeg skammer mig dog lidt over min måde at holde på plekteret ,-( Jeg har arbejdet meget med det i det sidste år, så nu begynder det at hjælpe.. Vi ses!
