@aerodc8 Good points, and I wonder what will happen when the US runs out of airplanes? In battle, losses can mount quickly. In any case, they'll never field 10,000 guys in antique bombers over a target, as my dad had to do in his B-17 over Berlin. We had high tech weapons at the end of WW-2, as we do now, it's just that they don't do well with an enemy determined to beat the threat. Anyone remember the North Vietnamese or maybe the North Koreans? We stalemated in conventional warfare!

I just hope for the US military's sake they are ready to take on a 1st class opponent, not the 4th world walkovers so common in US history. I don't think today's "heroes" would have done so well against the German Wehrmacht. Without Russia there would never have been a D-Day landing. The correlation of forces occurring world wide today bodes ill for the US. With the US economy in the toilet (except for McD's jobs) war is the only export product they have left & that's about to end as well.

Ah, the US Empire is inexorably collapsing, with China now the creditor and the US the debtor. How many Americans are even aware of the danger they are in? US military technology has been matched or even exceeded by Russia. Throw China, Pakistan & others into the mix & our "brave boys" in Afghan. & Iraq are about to be blown away by the bankers. The US has become a joke. Too many on "medications"& busily aborting as many babies as possible. Oh well - couldn't last forever.
