This is the class review for the last of six lessons in The Jam Cellar's Old School Jams Lindy Hop series taught 7/31/07. Your instructors are Bobby White and Kate Hedin.

The moves are from the 1941 soundie "Hot Chocolates." The dancers are William Downes and Frances "Mickey" Jones. A similar routine leads off the Lindy Hop scene in the movie "Hellzapoppin."

You will notice that two of the aerials are substituted with barrel rolls, since the hour would not allow for the necessary repetitive training for the fish flip and the basket flip.

The Jam Cellar is a world-reknowned weekly swing dance party held in a posh, turn of the century mansion in Northwest Washington, DC on Tuesday nights. The Jam Cellar offers class series in Lindy Hop and other swing dances for all levels of dancers taught by some of the best instructors in the world. The Jam Cellar also hosts periodic special events. For more information about The Jam Cellar visit http://www.thejamcellar.com/.

Every Tuesday night! You will like it!
