s2000 wreck

The car was unbalanced by aggressive throttle use. When you jump on and off the throttle with big bootfulls like that, you unload the rear and then put power to the wheels, causing loss of traction. This is actually one way to initiate oversteer in a drift scenario, but with the S2000 having a tendency for snap oversteer, I would say that provoking the car was a bad idea.

way to fuck up an awesome car

To me it looks like he was attempting to drift. If that's the case then it serves him right for trying to do it on a public road. Keep it on the track or at least learn some car control in an empty parking lot. Poor S2K had to suffer because of this dumb kid.

on a dime like this one does unfortunately has this issue. This is why they made the VSA standard on the 2006 models for this and bad weather especially if you drive it in the snow with blizzaks like i do. I dont mean any disrespect but did you recently get this car cause you seemed hesitant to go into the turn on the gas with confidence but unfortunately its the way to go with the s2k. well hope youre ok and get another one asap

I own a 2006 s2k and noticed if you go into a turn without having a steady foot on the gas you can spin it around easily. Based on what i hear in this video it sounds like you let off,on,off,on and more which threw off the balance from front to rear way too much on the turn and ended up losing the back end. Unfortunately it happens in this car until you get used to it. I almost wrecked my car in the rain under a similiar situation. Any car with a short wheel base and stiff suspension that turns

lighten up guys, it happens all the time where (guys mostly) get too excited or get a feeling of being indestructible for even 5 minutes and it happens to be when they are driving their car
first time i had this "feeling" i rear-ended a car and it smashed my whole engine compartment because i lifted it off the ground like a scoop
second time i drove 70 and accelerating in a 35 and cop came out from nowhere, 1st and only ticket thus far (but i've been driving much longer)

I feel for you man. I don't have an s2k but i wrecked my Cb7. I am 17 and that car is my life. I put my time and she is back on the road but for a little bit i thought i lost her. I hope you can find a worth replacement
