2009 How to Amend Your Tax Return

If you need to change your tax return, but you already filed your taxes, you will need to amend it. Once you file your tax return, you can't get it back. You will need to amend it if you need to make a change. To do this, make sure your tax return is squared away with the IRS - that you've paid any taxes you owe or you've received a tax refund that the IRS owes you.
