Tzar Samuil

Venetian diplomat named Iaonnis Diakonnes, in his chronicle which covers the period between 980-1008 years, has explained the intent of the Venetians Peter Ursus to send his son John, in the imprisonment of Byzantines. When John escapes the imprison, that proves that Samuilo Empire was named as Sclavinia (name of the Samuil Empire before Turko-Bulgarians, and later Serbs to establish their own state ):

quote "For a while, John, who was imprisoned in Zara (Stara Zagora), escapes first to Sclavinia, and then in Italy."

In the old Latin-Albanian history, which was analysed by the Macedonian romanticist Isaiah Mazhovski, during his work and stay in Tirana (Albania), that what he has read, found there in that book, later he have transferred into his book "The Memories" (published in Sofia, 1922) where he also wrote that the ancient Macedonians are direct ancestors by blood of the modern Macedonians.

Nichola D. Chupov, shortly before his death in 1924, writing about Miaks and Brziaks (Brzacite) has wrote:
