  • do you just leave your camera out there? walk back for the beginning of the video and then walk back after the end?

kinda strange that after 4 pages of videos i'm jut catching this

  • Yup, I buy cameras by the case. :)

Maybe I tie 50 yards of fishing line to the camera, and after I'm finished I just reel it in again?

You're the first to ask about that!

  • Man, I almost cried at a couple of points during the series. I wish they'd wrap up and finish off the plot points left hanging.

  • I read the 2 novels that have been translated for the US so far, and they don't even get as far as the anime! Vol 3, "The Vast Spread of the Seas" (Translated) is scheduled for March2009, if TokyoPop hangs in there. But I doubt it'll even catch up to the anime, either.

  • I want him to read the original novel.

    ISBN 978-1598169461 "Sea of shadow"

    ISBN 978-1598169478 "Sea of wind"

Then,I wanna listen to his new review.

  • I have read "Sea of Shadow" (after watching the anime.) While the novel and anime have many differences, I still like the anime. Perhaps because I didn't fall in love with the novel. Or, perhaps because I saw the anime first.

I'll probably get around to reading "Sea of Wind", but I've got other books on the stack to read through first.

  • I am just looking back at your old reviews. I really enjoyed this anime even though it's story was hard to get it all in your head. There were even side stories which at first was very unnecessary but they were so well told, I'd say keep it there. I really love the character Rakushun, he is like a friend who never ask for anything and he will help you when you need it. SUch a great character.

  • Would the title of this video be a reference to the novel Stranger In A Strange Land?

  • My anime club watched this and started me off on the 2nd season...what a big mistake! i got the terminology but the way the pacing was handled was some sort of sick joke.

Ergo Proxy and GITS: 2nd Gig come to mind, except 12 K. exceeded the limit on waste. We watched 24 eps for what could have been done in 5!!

This review of the 1st season makes me agree with your high rating though, it was high quality fantasy.

  • Very informative and a great review. On your blog, you should put your rating beside the title or make it more noticeable since sometimes I just want to skip ahead and see what you rated something. Skimming the article is a little tedious.
