  • @ArmoWings yeah armenian defenders are honest but turk defenders are bribed...is that what you realy think?

    beyazgazete(.) com/ video /2010 /03 /09/ sevan-nisanyan-in-bozuldugu-an(.) html

this link contains a conversation between halacoglu and nisanyan.I can translate it for you but the character limit is stopping me.I believe a bolsohay can translate it for you or I can send the translation via special message.

Also state archives are clear about the numbers, trust me.

  • @mreuphrates The whole definition of "genocide", created by Rafael Lempkin, was made to describe the killings of Armenians in the Ottoman empire...Hitler killed the Jews and was quoted saying, "Who after all remembers the killings of the Armenians?" You can't disprove these points. You have been trying to disprove my points without any credible facts. You have to do some research on this topic from NON-Turkish sites and form your own opinion on what happened.

  • @mreuphrates 3.) Numbers start from 1.0 million-1.5 million killed excluding the Adana and Hamidian massacres...300,000 that you're getting from is the number of Armenian deaths during the Hamidian massacre.

4.) There aren't Armenians defending Turkish claims because unlike Armenian claims, the Turkish claims are fabricated lies...what more can I tell ya. No one's going to prove to the world that 500,000 Turks died when there are no facts to support your points.

  • @mreuphrates 1.)

1.) Problem is that he's deceptive which I tried to tell you in my previous posts. So therefore, whatever he says regarding the Armenian genocide is NOT truthful. He also is bribed by the Turkish gov't to say whatever the Turks want to hear.

2.) Same applies with McCarthy. McCarthy estimated the total number of Armenians living in Ottoman Turkey and he came up with about half of what all the other historians were saying...he was criticized.

  • @ArmoWings 1-)my point was that halacoglu opened a door by telling the truth about hidden armenians.

Also, there are non-turkish historians who defends the turkish claim like justin mccarthy.

2-) Numbers starts from 300.000 to 1.5 million.Naturally, armenians take the highest number to make an advantage in politics. There are a lot of turks defending armenian claim,it is not new.

I wonder if there is any armenian defending the turkish claim?

3-)You can find the bones of turks in hakmehmet too.

  • @mreuphrates

1.) More like a deceptive historian...he knows his facts but he distorts the truth in favor of the Turkish side. His figures for the Genocide are considerably lower than any other historian's estimates. Historians from all over the world have acknowledged the Armenian Genocide took place.

2.) C'mon...I even know Turks who ADMITTED to the Armenian Genocide that took 1.5 million Armenian lives. Taner Akcam is a famous example.

3.) Bones can still be found to this day. (i.e. Syria)

  • @ArmoWings agreed on first and second sentences but i have to disagree on the third one.

No matter what he believes in,halacoglu is one of the most knowledgable historians in turkey. He had to quit his chair in turkish history association just because he told the truth.

He said that the most of the alevi kurdish people in dersim area are of armenian origin who converted into islam to survive the 1915 events.

Many people protested him then. But now, hidden armenians are free to expose their id.

  • @mreuphrates

    1.) When I say Turkish gov't I mean the Ottoman Turkish gov't...

2.) The Ottoman Turks burned most of the evidence of the atrocities after the genocide took place.

3.) I did some research on Yusuf Halacoglu...Wikipedia says that "He is one of the well-known scientists, who made up false stories regarding the Armenian genocide by the help of the Turkish government" ...why would you use his figures on the Amrneian Genocide? lol...at least do some research before you post.

  • @mreuphrates Well it's because you aren't very knowledgable on this subject. 1.5 million Armenians have died during the genocide. When they say 2 million...they mean 2 million were affected (because about 500,000 Armenians survived). Nearly 50% of the Armenian population was reportedly eliminated by the mostly the Ottoman Turks (Kurds were also involved).

  • @ArmoWings some of you say 1.5 , some of you say 2 millions... how about that?
