I heard a lot of things about PETA so I'm not gonna say anything whether its good or bad, but this is what happens when animals are in distress. If I were an elephant and I were forced to do all these tricks, I definately would attack the trainer.

OK, Normally, I think PETA is a load of shit, but even I have to admit this is seriously unacceptable. Elephants are one of the few creatures other than humans to display both social AND emotional sophistication, and you can tell that they actually get tired of putting up with this shit.
