Over 8,000 ordinary Australians, gathered on 2 April 2011
in Sydney CBD to protest against a Carbon (Dioxide) Tax
announced by the Labor/Greens government and present
a petition of 25,000 signatures to Senator Eric Abetz,
Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate.
Some rejected the 'Carbon Tax' as yet another Labor tax
on our families, a tax that will damage our industries and
export our jobs. Others argued it will do nothing to help
the planet or make global temperatures drop, while others
still, pointed to the growing doubts about the science and
business of Climate Change, disputing the need for any
abatement of carbon dioxide.

Its great to see people voicing there opinions. The name calling left right idealist communist socialist, stop using these terms, take the power away from these words that can close a discussion just by uttering them. People use these terms to try and get a emotional outburst and make your opinion look like a rantings of a crazy person. Peoples opinions are valid.
