I was lucky enough to see this show and its amazing cast about a month before the original cast left. Though I saw Rebecca Lock as Bertrand in her very first professional role. I loved it so much I went back again the next night. I would have gone again and again, but we left for home in the US. They should stop tinkering with it. Cast it well, and reprise this version. It was incredible!
incomplete journey. Martin Guerre in the end failed to win over two people in particular - Boublil and Schonberg. ironic that the show that won was the worst out of the three.
Thanks for posting. I was lucky enough to watch the final performance in London and who came on stage?...the two men who created it. I have seen Les Mis and Miss Saigon and there they were in front of me...I almost passed out. This is great....thanks again.
@SRadders Well he does have a great affinity for Sondheim as well.

Martin guerre did go away, sadly, the problem? Reviewers destroying ticket sales.

"These two men have really changed the shape of the musical & I think they have made it grow up!" - what about Stephen Sondheim??
