A video diary of our visit to Cappadocia in Turkey. It is an amazing place with seemingly everything carved into mountains. For more diaries, photos and videos please check out our travel blog www.25weeks.com

  • No picture or video i`ve seen does justice to the real thing.

Let alone the city that was carved into pure rock, just go there and watch the valley at sunset, it is unreal and amazing.

  • I agree, its an amazing place that has to be seen to be believed. A geographers acid trip is how i described it. I had not even heard of Cappadocia until i got to Turkey.

  • When I went the place was covered in snow. Looks so different without it. Just as weird, though.

  • The Killers - Bones. Perfect song for this little montage of a terrific destination that has been added to my travel list!

  • who is this song !!!

  • I hope you're talkin about the song. and if you are, you're right, it's stupid

  • Cool

  • Loved it! Thank you!!!

  • just curious ..why do you say stupid? these caves and the thousands of people who were able to live in them make for a really amazing story. They had air ducts, and carved everything out of the mountains. some of the caves could hold up to 20,000 people.

  • Cappadocia is a refuge to the Christians whom are being threaten by the Romans. It's a hiding place. The tunnels go for miles under the ground.
