Hey Tom, I am putting in the same pump. Did you plug in the hot wire in the bottom clip? Does it matter red or blue which one on top? Funny video , it helped.

i used a 2HP pentair challenger on a 15,000 gal pool overkill? yes so was the sand filter which was oversized to the pump the pool though has an attached spa without a dedicated spa pump "it uses the pool pump to run the spa jets" so the pump had to be overkill and couldn't afford 2 speed or the intelliflo
