  • Thanks for that tip on getting it in stereo , sounds lots better, if thats even possible.

  • @yogi1707 No problem, and thanks for visiting my channel.

  • Love the song, love the Seekers, thanks for posting! I hated leaving Liverpool when I was a kid, (although not the Liverpool they sing of), mine was in New York.

  • Aren't they great, though? Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it.

  • Have never heard this one before, however, it makes you begin to realize, if you haven't already, just how prolific these beautiful people are. They all followed their dream, got together, made music and consequently made an absolutely huge impact on the music world. No one would want to admit it, but I beleive they make a more positive and lasting impact than Elvis or even the Beatles. They were happy performing together and are still happy and continue making a positive impact, even today.

  • ###one big difference that the Seekers had over other groups, is they exemplified moral uprightness (showing it is possible in the pop industry). Their purity shone in their music.

If you notice Keith, he never gloated in the limelight, but kept as much a back seat as possible, despite the fact that he arranged all these songs; did quite original lead solos; probably the most under-rated musician in the history of pop, but was quite a content guy.

They simply loved the music they sang.

  • Harrh yes, 'tis mighty fine - this rendition.

  • This was the version that introduced me to this grand old song back in my teens when it came out. It was not the song I bought the album for but it became one of my favorites. I still have that old vinyl album some 45 years later.

  • Beatiful, the voice of an angel.

  • Beautiful song though a little sad. Judith's voice is the the perfect voice for this song. Judith also has the perfect figure as seen at 0:47 when she is standing on that box. God please give us back our lost youth.

  • This has always been my favorite versions - from one of their earliest albums

  • Getting Old - We shall weep.

  • The memories this song carries. Standing outside the liverpools eaglet, watching my dad along with the rest of the Navy boys gathering together to leave, all lined up singing this song loudly to the people who came to see them off.

  • @katgrateful There's a Liverpool in New York :P thats a first to me lol but yeah the Liverpool over here in England that they're singing bout is an amazing city, was brought up there :)

  • @katgrateful Near Syracuse?

  • Luke Kelly reins King at this......but areckin this is top notch.
