@jadechan125 Just not squeaky clean, it's easier to work with if there is already existing product in your hair to help it hold better.

do u need to have volumized hair for this?? because my hair is naturally straight and flips out at the ends.....

@zeezo2013 It helps if your hair is a little bit "dirty" with either product or just naturally. Just helps everything hold a bit better, but curling your hair will definately help with the volume naturally :)
