@lovethe80sforever Even though it's been a year since your initial comment, I thought I'd let you know that this had nothing to do with either of those projects.

Rivers and Matt were working on an album during Weezer's Maladroit era (iirc) and this was the one song we actually received as a live recording. The album was cancelled because of artistic differences between Matt and Rivers.
