Congrats! Nice chocolate rack. About 17 inch spread? I bet he went 110 or so. My last buck was in the morning in the rain, too. I've heard a lot that older bucks ( 4 - 6 ) don't get as active during the rut, so they travel in the rain when competing bucks are bedded down. Another theory I heard is that the more wary older deer knows humans avoid the rain as well, so they travel in the rain. Anyways - Awesome buck!

You've got a good eye. Rack was 17 inch outside, and he scored 110.5. Not only did this buck move in the rain, but about 2.5 hours before dark, so that was interesting.
