The user aimcifer described racism as "commonly defined as hatred or intolerance of different races." However, the definition applies to prejudice NOT racism. Prejudice is the act of pre-judging.

Racism is prejudice PLUS power. For example, a bigoted employer that does not hire black people is a racist. A redneck that does not want to live next to asian people is prejudice, get it?

By the way, Al Sharpton does NOT fit into any of these negative molds stop watching Fox news.

Racism is commonly defined as a belief or doctrine where inherent biological differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, with a corollary that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others...sounds like white people to me.
