  • @samwa it's funny I never received notification of this reply until now... Anyway "good art"is very subjective, but on the other hand, I believe things that last throughout the times can be defined as "good art". But there has always been the "crap art" that in someway gives bulk to the artistic field en vogue at different times. Many times also, the "art" the alleged artist makes is pure shit, but what makes it relevant is the artist's rebelious and defying attitude and the circumstances

  • Good 'ol Bill. Always good for some nonsense.

And I agree with Boredavid's comment...give us the the Black Room!

  • yeah and finish the black room.

  • @CafetaoSuicidal That's not, generally, what makes good art. Artistic endeavours become successful or admired because they resonate with people, not because they're 'explained... using vague or... disconnected arguments.' Your "sense" argument falls apart, because all "sense" is sought out by the subject; to say that X has sense but Y does not have sense is entirely opinionated. Just because you don't like a piece of art doesn't mean that it is useless or hasn't done something for others.

  • you know... it´s pretty easy to make art, because you just do whatever senseless think comes to your mind and just call it art, or you can even explain it further, using vague or somewhat disconnected arguments. And that will make people think, because they are trying to find sense in something that has none really.

  • Pretentious?

    Moi?
