It's already happening Adrian. Open your eyes.

You can give me all these figures about Scientology's growth all over the world but consider this.. Scientology is viewed more negatively than atheism in the U.S. Knowing you.. you'll probably take that as excuse to insult my country or change the subject but the fact is.. Scientology is pretty fring-y these days and very few are looking to it for answers.

don't stop. people in the cult DO wake up, look at Tory Magoo. it just might take a while. thank you for posting these!!

Aw. I'd tip ya!

cont... Yes, the tactics of Tommy Gorman and the Angry Gay Pope are uncomfortable and off-putting for people who value reason; however we all know that reason and being right are not going to get the desired results. The critical thing is to communicate the message, repeat; communicate the message, repeat; ad infinitum. Stay on message and repeat. This is how public opinion are formed. This is why advertising works. This is why most people believe that Saddam Husein was tied to Al Qaida.

cont... let it be known that homo novus are welcome to rejoin the species at any time; all it takes is a willingness to be uncertain vulnerable and unclear; which is our natural state. Extend the offer for them to come home to humanity, to rediscover their emotional landscape and to grant their conscience a place of prominence in their lives. It is all about the golden rule, about kindness forbearance and generosity... but they will have to surrender the Superman delusion in order to be human.

cont... Like NotSoCrazyDelaney, I believe that changing an individual's view of the cult from the inside is highly unlikely, because their mind control techniques are time tested and proven to be effective. However, most members do blow eventually with or without outside assistance. And, when DM takes the money and runs, as we all know he will, the rank and file will be out on the street. Anon can be the bridge to true freedom or the welcome wagon on Liberty Lane. Just put out the welcome mat.

cont... There is of course a great deal of overlap between these twin objectives. The benefit in parsing them is twofold; clarity of objectives helps in staying on target, and clarity helps in measuring and identifying progress. All wins must be celebrated.
Be clear that mass perception is not formed on the basis of truth. Truth is not enough. Persuasion and repetition are necessary if you want to effect lasting change in public perception. This is a PR struggle, a marketing campaign.

Interesting points and frustrations we all share and accept because after all we are dealing with a mind control cult here. CoS members cannot have free thoughts.
I believe that it is important to parse the twin objectives. One is to occupy and hold as much mind space as possible in order to function as opinion makers or thought leaders rather than respondents/victims. The other objective is to engage the organization and to disrupt it's recruitment activities; to stop the flow of "fresh meat".

Never gonna happen...Time will show you this.

LOL! Insane Scientology criminals. Good grief, these frothingly insane criminals are so pathetically lame, the crime syndicate only has something like 40,000 remaining customers world wide, all thanks to the ARSCC and now Anonymous. Scientology is organized crime, created by a drug addled conman named L. Ron Hubbard who had massive sexual problems and died screaming with psycho drugs in his system about invisible murdered space aliens.

Good to see you back at work.

I know exactly how you feel, as I've spoken to a few of them myself. It's like their ability of critical thinking has been inadvertently taken away from them.
One pattern I saw was that they are unable to carry a thought from one message to the next, and always find a way to respond to the most recent message. Recognize patterns like these, keep pushing the point you try and make, and if they still continue doing what they are, then flat out give up. I certainly can relate to you.

Keep making videos mate because they're good. But maybe concentrate on expressing your views & providing information to the YouTube public & your fellow critics. For example you quoted Hubbard tech below & just by doing that you have explained to others why scientologists won't listen to reason, it's suppressive.
-
It may sound cruel CrazyD but it will be 100% more effective. Trying to reason with them is an exercise in fulility & frustration & a complete waste of time & energy.
-
It is basically impossible to have a logical or rational debate with a Co$ member. They are drilled to completely ignore you even when you provide factual evidence & reputable sources. They truly believe the "tech" is perfect. CCHR propoganda videos for example are readily accepted as gospel. To question the tech or any church practices is forbidden & out ethics. I've come to the conclusion it's futile trying to reason with them. Better to focus on informing the public the truth about the cult.
-
Its very unlikely you or I are ever going to get someone to blow. You may plant a seed of doubt but what I'm more concerned with is cultural inoculation against the Hubbardian virus. I want the cult so marginalized and maligned that it becomes so much of a joke that it becomes as fringe as being a Neo-Nazi.. as cruel as that sounds.
-
Being reasonable is called suppressive by the founder of their religion.. thats why they are for the most part completely impervious to it and yes... it is very frustrating and emotionally exhausting which is why I didn't make a video this week.. it can be very tough to take. It can make you want to cry.. seriously lol
-
You mentioned trying to reason with them... quote from Hubbard policy letter that might shed some light on some things you said,
"Reasonableness is suppressive since it lets oppression continue without action being taken. Suppressive reasonableness is a common trait. It comes from THE INABILITY TO CONFRONT EVIL." - HCOPL 7 December 1969 The Ethics Officer, His Character
How in the world do I have more subscribers than you? :) Great video. Cute.
Why are you so busy in the summer? You work at the beach? :)

Another good video GTG.
Trying to get through to a Scientologist is akin to trying to plat water. It just shows how well the indoctrination process is working inside the church.
"Logic & reason has nothing to do with our discussion at all"
100% correct! Logic and reason are just some of the words and meanings erased from the Scilon mind.
Scientology is bullshit: FACT ;)
PS: I missed the bird!

I moved his cage back to where I had it before. If I keep it in my computer room he insists on being on my shoulder and then tears holes in my shirts. lol.
