By doing nothing about auto and refinery emissions that permanently damage kids lungs, we're agreeing to stunting the next generation, to lessened health and lessened quality of life.

It's not as if there's no alternative.

No one is forcing GM to make plug-in cars, and GM is suing CARB for the right to pollute the air. If GM were going to make oil-free cars, they would not fear higher CAFE mpg standards.

  • ok, so we know everything is bad. what are we going to do about it? what can we do about it?

  • Remove lying politicians such as Schwarzenegger and Bush, and their appointed flunkies like the CARB. Nothing else works.

  • Not one candidate on either side is dealing with this issue. Romney is the worst, pandering to the impossible ideat that cheap gas will come back.

  • GGT Electric is trying to help solve this problem. We make 100% electric, zero emissions vehicles. Just plug in overnight and you are set for the day. Kids should not have to grow up living with toxic emissions. Check out our channel and subscribe please. We have the solution!

  • I love my car and I really dont care for emissions. The fact remains CARB is simply a benefit to certain people only. its much easier for the government to put out regulations for the general public than it is to create a standard for all companies and factories producing any sort of "green house gas

  • Diesel is the true way to go. It takes so much more energy to create one battery than to run a full sized SUV for a year. Look at Europe

  • For the last 10 years aircraft have crisscrossed are sky's releasing chemicals far more harmful to are health. Than the emissions from diesel fuels. These chemicals are falling on are food & water and are inhaled with every breath.

    Barium 278 X the toxic limit, copper 98 X, Manganese 5,820 X, Zinc 593 X, Cadmium 126 X, Chromium 282 X, Nickel 169 X, Aluminum 6,400 X, Iron 28,000 X, Magnesium 5.3 X, Potassium 793 X, Sodium 15.9 X.

    Where's CARB?

  • Good luck with that. Unfortunately, that would require most citizens to actually bother to deal with politicians. Since politicians have the money to hide their garbage, most of it doesn't ever really hit th public in an obvious manner. Since it doesn't matter, and people don't care unless it directly affects them, nothing will change any time soon. And, beleive me, I really wish it would.

  • I very much enjoy your videos. I am one the many with scarred lungs. After years of biking I have developed non-allergenic asthma. I did not have asthma as a child nor anyone in my family.

I'm hoping for a future with all EVs that use energy from renewable sources.

I really appreciate your videos. Keep up the superb work.

  • Its funny carb makes both sides of the emission's issue mad. lol they are really useless. How about just making electric cars or retrofits and use them. Really with new mileage issues electric cars are an easy option. Which is the best retrofit option? Remember cost is an issue. I figure just doing it will make it happen.

  • Thank you very much for posting your videos. Obviously, you are a gentleman of considerable education and background. I fail to understand why we are not producing more electric vehicles, and mass producing these vehicles for everyone. The resulting benefits to the environment and the jobs created by mass production of electric vehicles are so obvious.
