Caravan - Golf Girl 1971 BBC

I can't think of any other rock tune about golf...not that there's much ground to mine. still, great stuff.

I saw Caravan live in London in Spring, 1973,
at The Rainbow. A classic memory.
They were excellent.

They could re-do this song, bring it up to date and call it 'Goff Girl'. "Hiding in a churchyard, stoned on Ecstasy, I came across a Goff Girl, selling hemlock tea..."

Lighten up yerself... in my original post you'd look in vain for the word «about». Frankly I don't care what the song, what any song is «about», as long as it's funny or interesting. I don't like tea but if I'd meet a sweet golf girl I'd buy a dozen cups of tea!
