Second race of my season, mk1 golf 8v with 45's. Great battle with the 205, I need to square my settings away, as getting power down out of bends was an issue. Lots of fun thugh

  • Nice vid, didnt see us anywhere tho. Try stiffening the rear suspesnion, way too much understeer

  • @Burpspeed @Burpspeed Thanks, yes need to learn the set up more, the slow exits from Druids and the last bend was killing me. Had the rear shocks 15 clicks out of 24, so will try more for next time. And if your slower next time I may catch more footage of you!

  • @alex200sxs14a Great vid, i am one of the drivers of that 205 and sorry its not above you in class as mine is only 1.6 but a great battle to the end !!!

  • @simon2238 yes top battle, I was trying everything. You were much better out of Druids and Clearways. Also a little gutted to find out its a 1.6 lol! What bhp and weight are you?

  • this is NOT MSVR! This is the CSCC... MSVR nic'd the CSCC format hoping to cash-in on someone elses series... join the CSCC. Much better series overall, very varied races and mix of experienced and novice drivers... all of whom will make you feel very welcome!

  • hope to be racing in this series soon. Can you shed some light on the pit stops. The regs state a 2:45 stop for 2 drivers and 3min for solo drivers. But you seem to be alot quicker than that. How does the MSVR work it on the day?

  • @simon2238

I need to get some - camber on the rear of the pug which would be a great help!

  • @simon2238 Nice driving Skiddy! Watch your lines.... see if you can spot where you could have gone faster... I think there's one spot where Nick would have taken a slightly different line which would account for the difference in lap time

  • @alex200sxs14a if it helps you... the set up I had on my old pug [i know it's not a golf but it's similar] was -3d camber on the front, +2mm tow out. On the rear I had -3d camber. I also had 400lb springs on the front. Good driving too!

  • Nice vid for once i get to see how i drive (the 205 class d).

Hope to do it again soon!!

  • Nice to see us on vid,The 205 your racing is not the one you think it is mine and is only a 1.6,but great battle hope to do it again soon!!
