New York City Landmark Health Center Provides Vital Care to Thousands

Healthcare providers in Brooklyn share how funds help them reach underserved populations with primary and preventative care.

Recognizing the urgent issues related to cost, quality and access of health care for underserved populations in the United States, GE Foundation has launched Developing Health, a new grant program that aims to increase access to primary care for underserved populations in targeted communities.

Funds help clinics on Fairfield County, Connecticut and eight U.S. cities: Atlanta, Georgia; Baltimore, Maryland; Cincinnati, Ohio; Houston, Texas; Louisville, Kentucky; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; New Orleans, Louisiana; and New York, New York, with further expansion expected.
