A crash shut down the southbound West Side Highway for about two hours during this mornings rush.
From news reports it sounds like: the northbound driver was speeding, lost control, catapulted into the southbound lanes and collided with a southbound vehicle at 125th Street about 7:30 a.m., New York City police said. The northbound car was demolished. Three people were injured and taken to St. Lukes Hospital.
Streetfilms was riding by on the West Side Bike path just before 9am.
